Befriending Butterflies is a zine about celebrating beautiful things, in particular of course: butterflies. For a while now I have been obsessing over their fragile beauty, and the fleeting moments in which you get to enjoy it. I hoped to capture it, so we will be able to look a little longer, hold on to it a little longer. That is why it was important to me to have each butterfly in this zine cut out. To get as close as I can get to the real feeling of those fragile wings, as if you are going through a stack of butterflies.
