hi there!
I'm Ilse, a visual artist currently based in Zwolle, The Netherlands. I love working with clay and pencils, and sometimes even combine the two :)
YES, I can be an adult and love cute things and pastel colors! It took me some time to figure this out (about four years of studying art & education and the first two years of studying illustration design), but I got there. As I started to use them more and more in my work I found out that they give me an enormous amount of joy. Holding on to this joy I started to surround myself with these colors as well, in my clothes, in my home and in my (academy-) studio. I've never felt more myself :)

So that is what I love to do right now! Make things that give me and others joy. These things can be tiny things to cherish or sometimes bigger surroundings to experience.
I also enjoy taking part in art fairs and other creative events, and give my own workshops so you can make something pretty for yourself as well!
